Cannot exceed 250 words. Abbreviations must be spelled out. Include Background & Aims, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Video abstracts are encouraged.

Original articles should not exceed 4000 words including references, and figure and table legends. No more than 6 figures and/or tables (figures are limited to 6 panels per figure). Additional images may be included as supplemental files to be published online only.

Resolution must be at least 300 ppi. Line art will be redrawn by the AGA Institute's medical illustration team.
