Colosalpingeal Fistula Diagnosed by Computed Tomography
published online 29 September 2008.
Fistulous connections secondary to an acute episode of diverticulitis are not uncommon. Along with abscess formation, perforation, and obstruction, they are among the common surgical complications of this disease process. Although fistulas to the urinary bladder or vagina are seen occasionally,1 colon-to-fallopian tube connections are much less common and generally are diagnosed either at surgery, barium enema, or hysterosalpingography.
