Update on codes and reimbursements for GI practice☆

The AGA's Clinical Practice and Practice Economics and Practice Management and Economic Committees monitor and provide educational activities for the practice of gastroenterology. In this report, we have collected updated information on reimbursement for selected Medicare codes that are often used by gastroenterologists and new codes issued by Medicare and by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that are relevant to the practice of gastroenterology. It is important to note that the rates do not reflect geographical differences and should serve mainly as a guide for physicians.
